"Z" is an ex-race horse from the track who in his day he did manage to pull off a few wins. In his very first 50 mile endurance race he finished 2nd (next to our teammate who took 1st). However, Z tends to be low man in the pasture due to his very gentle nature (many scars to prove it). He can be a bit lazy at times on trail. If you put a horse in front of him he will run all day but by himself he tends to be a little too relaxed to be an FEI level horse (great AERC horse). We feel someone looking for a solid 25 mile horse would make him the best home. Z handles the 50's easily but we really feel like he would enjoy the 25's more. Easy to ride, walks, trots, canters, loads, stands for the farrier, been there done that kind of horse. We are not in any hurry to sell Z as he is one of our lesson horses therfore we are very firm on his price.
